Silverhost Terms and Conditions

By accessing our site or using any of our services you agree to the following Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy as well as the Silverhost Specific Policies and notices listed on this page:



TL;DR (but you definitely should): We don't want to have to use any of these policies, but we need to have something in place :)

Silverhost Specific Policies:

Information on the Security and Location of Silverhost servers (Las Vegas Datacenter):


Silverhost has a zero tolerance policy for illegal content hosted on our platform (excluding DMCA and copyright), the following is our policy for handling reports of illegal content hosted on our platform.

  1. If your website is reported to be hosting illegal content that we ourselves cannot legally view or transfer, we reserve the right to access your site's data using a file manager program, along with the customer being immediately notified, and use file names to determine if your website is indeed hosting illegal content.

  2. If your website is found or suspected to be hosting illegal content (excluding DMCA and copyright), as per these terms, your services will be terminated immediately, your data will be immediately wiped from our servers without warning, you will receive no refund, and your personal information including your Billing Information and IP Address may be reported to the appropriate law enforcement agencies.


  1. If we receive a DMCA request for your site (1st time), we will forward the request to you, and the service will be suspended until you have confirmed to us that the offending content has been removed.

  2. If your site gets a second DMCA request, your service will immediately be terminated, with no refund, and a full backup emailed to you.


  1. Any dissatisfied customer may contact Silverhost for a one time monetary refund within 3 days of purchasing a service.

  2. If a refund is requested a second time, or is outside of the 3 days window, you will receive store credit that can be used for Silverhost services.

  3. Silverhost reserves the right to deny a refund, or issue store credit in place of a monetary refund at any time unless otherwise stated in this Terms of Service.

  4. If at any time a chargeback is received, or if fraud is reported with sufficient evidence, Silverhost reserves the right to immediately terminate and wipe data of all services on the connected account without warning or backup.


  1. Silverhost is not responsible for backing up your services (unless otherwise states in these terms), or providing any automatic backup system.

  2. If your service is terminated under the condition of a backup being emailed, a link for a zip file containing the backup will be sent to your email within 24 hours of your service being terminated. The download link will be active for 7 days, after which Silverhost reserves the right to erase the backup from our servers.


  1. If payment for active services is not received by the expiration date, the service will be suspended until payment is made. If 7 days have passed after the expiration, your service will be terminated along with a full backup emailed to you.

All Silverhost services are sold as "unmanaged", meaning that we will provide basic support to ensure your services are functioning, but we will not provide any "managed" support such as installing apps for you, or setting up a domain.

Silverhost is in no way responsible for downtime or the effects of downtime or data loss of any service on our platform that is not directly caused by an action we took, as we are a reseller, we do not control the server.

Silverhost reserves the right to terminate or suspend any service at any time, for any reason, even if you are not specifically breaking the Terms of Service, with 48 hours notice, a full monetary refund of your last payment, and a full backup emailed to you (in the case of termination).
